Shalrie Joseph set for Toronto
Shalrie Joseph's five-game suspension has ended and he will make his return to the Revolution for Saturday's game against Toronto FC.
Joseph, who has been involved in the MLS' Substance Abuse and Behavioral Health program, has performed in only one game this season -- a 4-1 victory over Toronto April 10.
The league has not released information about the suspension, Joseph being officially on a "leave of absence for personal reasons."
Joseph had a hip flexor injury and missed the Revolution's visit to San Jose April 17, the start of a six-game winless streak. Joseph last practiced with the Revolution before a 2-1 loss to Colorado April 24, then was admitted to the SABH program.
Joseph arrived with the team yesterday but a team official said he would not comment. Joseph's suspension is believed to be among the longest since the MLS instituted the SABH program.
