John Wolyniec scored two goals and the New York Red Bulls eliminated the New England Revolution from the US Open Cup tournament with a 3-0 victory Wednesday night in Harrison, N.J.

Sinisa Ubiparipovic added a goal for the Red Bulls, who advance to face the Colorado Rapids in the final round of play-in round matches.

The Revolution traveled with only 14 players, including two goalies.

The US Open Cup is for American teams of all levels. Two Major League Soccer teams will qualify for the championship round of the tournament.
