Revolution midfielder Shalrie Joseph (hip flexor) did not train with the team Thursday in its final preparation for Saturday's visit to D.C. United. Joseph is expected to make his season debut in the home-opener against Toronto FC April 10.
"I'm guessing next week is an absolute certainty but this weekend is questionable," coach Steve Nicol said. "We're not surprised -- obviously we hoped he would be fit. We'll see tomorrow, see what happens."
Central defender Darrius Barnes, who also missed the season-opening 1-0 loss at Los Angeles, is expected to be available. Serbian midfielder Marko Perovic's work visa was finalized Thursday but he is not expected to arrive until next week.

To our readers,
We've added a translation feature to the Corner Kicks blog to assist readers who may be more comfortable reading another language.
Google Translate is not perfect -- we're aware of that -- but it is quite good at getting the main points of the story across. We've successfully used it on The Big Picture, Boston.com's extremely popular world photography site. I'd be eager to hear your feedback on its use in Corner Kicks, in whatever language.
