The Revolution and SL Benfica are negotiating to play an exhibition game at Gillette Stadium May 19, according to multiple sources.

Benfica, currently leading the Portuguese Primeira Liga with a 22-1-4 (70 points) record, would be making its Gillette debut. Benfica, 31 times champion of Portugal and two-time Champions Cup winner, has a 3-1-1 record in Foxborough in games since 1972. In its last three appearances at Foxboro Stadium, average attendance was 31,624.
