It's a first as Oduro lifts Dallas past Bulls

Dominic Oduro and David Wagenfuhr scored first-half goals to lead FC Dallas to a 2-1 win over the New York Red Bulls last night in Frisco, Texas.

FC Dallas (9-5-3) snapped a three-game losing streak, during which the club failed to score. The Red Bulls (2-6-8) are winless in five games.

Oduro and Wagenfuhr each scored their first goals of the season while subbing for injured forwards Roberto Mina (knee) and Carlos Ruiz.

Oduro's goal in his first MLS game came in the second minute and snapped a 330-minute scoreless streak for FC Dallas, the second longest in club history. Oduro took control of Kenny Cooper's pass and raced past defender Carlos Mendes before placing a shot into the right corner of the net from about 15 yards for a 1-0 lead.

United 1, Crew 0 -- Alecko Eskandarian scored his sixth goal of the season before being ejected and visiting D.C. extended its winning streak to five games.

Eskandarian scored on a free kick from 28 yards in the 43d minute. He received a red card for bowling over Marcos Gonzalez as the defender prepared to take a free kick in the 65th minute.

Rapids 1, Wizards 0 --Clint Mathis scored in the 91st minute for his first goal this season as Colorado handed visiting Kansas City its fifth straight loss, its longest skid in more than seven years.

Dynamo 3, Chivas USA 1 -- Alejandro Moreno scored a breakaway goal in the 84th minute to secure host Houston's victory.

Galaxy 2, Real Salt Lake 0 -- Herculez Gomez and Josh Gardner scored early in the second half for host Los Angeles.
