Jen Crovo, Bishop Fenwick – The outside hitter combined for 20 kills, 26 digs, and 6 aces against Austin Prep and Masconomet last week. One of Crovo’s more notable games was against Lynnfield where she totaled 11 digs, most of which were on diving plays, and seven kills. “She is the leader of our team defense, which has been very good all year,” said Bishop Fenwick coach Adam DeBaggis.
Katie Leidhold, Fairhaven — The Blue Devils star had 32 kills and 36 digs in three matches as Fairhaven improved to 14-3.
Kelly Brown, Dighton-Rehoboth — In a win over Old Rochester, Brown had 10 aces and 9 kills.
Shaelyn Tobin, Marshfield – “Shaelyn is deserving of the player of every match, but she especially showed her leadership on the court in the win against previously undefeated Plymouth South team,” said Rams coach Danielle Aquino-Enriquez. The senior outside hitter has totaled 62 kills this season.
Maddi O’Connor, Hamilton-Wenham – The junior outside hitter had one of her best games of the season, said Generals coach Jen Flynn. Of her 19 serves, 12 were aces and she had only one error in serve in the team’s 3-0 win against Saugus, 25-21, 25-14, 25-22.
Allie Nolan, Melrose – The junior setter had a combined 64 assists the week prior against Lexington, Reading and Woburn.
Shelby Corsano, Bourne — The Canalmen continued their unbeaten run, led by Corsano who had 14 service points, 5 aces, and 18 assists in leading Bourne to a 16-0 record.
Ellie Roberts, Case — In two wins, Roberts had 25 kills, 4 blocks, and 8 digs.
Melanie Diaz, Greater New Bedford Vocational — In a match with Apponequet, Diaz had 29 digs, 14 kills, and 8 aces.
