Girls’ soccer stars of the week

Players of the week:

 Andrea O’Brien, Concord-Carlisle — The Patriots striker eclipsed the 100-goal mark for her career with a hat trick against Boston Latin and two-goal games against Natick and Wayland. She now has 101.

Kayla Steeves, Needham – The Rockets sophomore netted the game-winner with five minutes to play against Braintree on Thursday, as Needham clinched its first outright Bay State League (Carey Division) title in more than a decade.

Emily Bowers, Needham – The Rockets sophomore goalkeeper joins teammate Steeves on this week’s list thanks to her five consecutive shutouts — the longest current streak in Eastern Mass.

 Courtney Walsh, Central Catholic – The junior forward assisted on the lone Raider goal in a 1-1 tie with Acton-Boxboro on Monday, then helped Central Catholic clinch the Merrimack Valley Conference title against Lowell with a hat trick.

Arundel Miguelez, Acton-Boxboro – Miguelez scored the winning goal in the Colonials’ upset of top-ranked Peabody on Saturday in the 67th minute.
