Girls’ hockey players of the week

Carly Boyle, Wellesley — The sophomore forward scored the winner, her second goal of the day for the No. 10 Raiders, with 45 seconds left in their 4-3 win over Needham. Wellesley is unbeaten this season, with only a 2-2 tie against Dedham Jan. 4.

Jamie Melley, Reading — The junior forward scored the winning goal for the No. 2 Rockets in a 2-1 victory over No. 14 Acton-Boxboro. Reading is unbeaten in eight straight since a 4-3 loss to St. Mary’s Dec. 23.

Brittani Lanzilli, Medford — The senior center factored in all four goals for the Mustangs in a 4-2 win over Cambridge/Somerville, scoring three and assisting on the other. She also had a hat trick against Masconomet/Hamilton-Wenham in a 7-5 win.

Ashley Sastriotta, Framingham — The senior made 53 saves for the Flyers in a 5-3 win over Norwood.

Maddie Jalbert, Beverly/Danvers – The eighth-grade goaltender notched 14 saves for the seventh-ranked Panthers in 1-0 shutout of Lexington.
