Boys’ hockey players of the week

Players of the week

Peter Cronin, BC High — Cronin is the Catholic Conference’s best goalie statistically. He held down Catholic Memorial in a 5-1 win, and then held off Malden Catholic in a 4-3 victory, the most goals he’s surrendered this season.

Joe Admirand, Marshfield — Admirand helped the Rams team take down Malden Catholic, 7-3, last week by scoring a pair of goals. Marshfield turned a lot of heads with that win, which pushed it into the Globe Top 20. The Rams took home two victories last week and Admirand was a big reason for that.

Max Willman, Barnstable — Willman, the Old Colony leader in points with 18, was vital to the big upset of Catholic Memorial Saturday. The team captain tied the game at 2 with just over a minute left in regulation, and Barnstable won in a shootout.
