Did anyone notice that about a week after Nick DInnocenzo established himself as the fast swimmer in the state, Andovers Christopher McConnell did the same on land? The junior won the 55-meter dash at the state meet in an indoor record time of 6.34. Minutes later he joined the 4x200 relay team and led them to victory, a win that helped the Golden Warriors win the All- State title. Much like DInnocenzo, McConnell was also the states fastest last year when he won the 55 title for the first time. And earlier this winter, he won the dash at the State Coaches and Division 1 meets. Its clear, speed limits dont apply in Andover.
