Barnstable girls have sixth senseAt least there was a little drama this year. "We werent quite sure this time, said Barnstable coach Duncan Chase. "It was one of the best state meets in 10 years." And for the sixth straight year Barnstable won the state championship. Chelmsford was the hard-luck second-place finisher, led by the two-time gymmnast of the year and UNH-bound Alison Carr. The meet came down to the last rotation. Barnstables Leah Pacheco was the final performer on the floor and her 9.55 score gave Barnstable the title. "I like the pressure, Pacheco said after. "Being the last one on the floor, everyone watching you. Its exciting."
