WESTWOOD — Xaverian did just fine in Week 1 without Shayne Kaminski, who was sidelined with a broken left toe, but having the senior captain back on the field was a welcome sight for Charlie Stevenson’s Hawks.

Kaminski rumbled for a 31-yard touchdown on the second drive of the game to give Xaverian a lead it never relinquished, as it beat top-ranked Bridgewater-Raynham, 49-13, Saturday.

It was the second time No. 10 Xaverian (2-0) knocked off the No. 1 team after beating Everett, 20-8, in Week 1.
