Jeff D'Auria , Chelmsford: The senior back scored four touchdowns and racked up 290 yards rushing in a 35-27 win over Dracut, in his second 4-TD performance of the season.

Elijah Morrissey , Governor's Academy: In just two quarters, the senior captain from Rowley scored three touchdowns as the Govs rolled over Rivers, 54-15. He also had two TDs in a 49-43 victory over Thayer Academy in the opener.

Cristian Rivera , Greater Lawrence Tech: The 6-foot senior back punished Brighton on the ground, rushing for 247 yards and three touchdowns in the Reggies’ 41-12 win last week.

Matt Talbot, Amesbury: A model of efficiency in a 37-24 win over Hamilton-Wenham, the senior quarterback was 7 of 10 passing for 114 yards and two scores, and also rushed for 117 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries.

Johnathan Thomas , St. John's Prep: The senior back once again took the lead role with 178 yards rushing and three more touchdowns (six for the season) in the Eagles’ 27-12 win over Brockton.

Burlington (4-0) at Reading (4-0), Friday, 7 p.m.: Reading is locked in on defense: the Rockets have not yielded a point all season. Free safety Greg Connery anchors a unit that will face its biggest challenge to date in the Red Devils and senior back Marcus Odiah, the program’s career rushing leader who has 821 yards and 11 touchdowns through four games this fall.
