Girls’ basketball players of the week


Brittany Stone, West Bridgewater—The junior forward continues to dominate as she delivered her third consecutive 28-point game and recorded 18 rebounds against Holbrook.

Indira Evora, Somerville—It was quite a week for the senior guard. Evora averaged 22 points and passed the 1,000-point carer mark in a victory over Winthrop on Monday.

Caitlyn Abela, Oliver Ames -- The senior scored as many points as the opposing team in a 75-33 victory over King Philip on Tuesday.

Madie Rodman, Gann Academy — The senior forward averaged 15 points and 8 rebounds a game in leading Gann to a 3-0 week which included a win over previously undefeated Newman Prep.

Diondra Woumn, Lynn English -- The junior guard helped the Bulldogs clinch a tournament berth with 25 points, 10 rebounds, and 5 steals against Medford Wednesday.

Infiniti Thomas-Waheed—The junior scored 29 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for the Tigers in a 31-point victory over Lincoln-Sudbury on Thursday.

Grace Geary, Falmouth—The junior point guard had as impressive week, scoring 31 points over Sandwich and 26 points on Friday night.
