The second-ranked Central Catholic girls’ soccer team defeated Bishop Fenwick, 2-0, on the road to earn their fifth win and fourth shutout this season.

Despite arriving to the field too late for a proper warm up, the Raiders (5-0) were ready to go when the whistle blew. Just 12 minutes in, junior Alli Wiggins’s shot bounced off the opposing goalie and senior Megan Rauseo knocked in the rebound for the 1-0 lead.

With less than 10 minutes remaining in the game, Raiders senior Courtney Walsh beat a defender off the dribble and fired a laser that found the back of the net.
