Quarterbacks get all the glory, and so it was no surprise that Tom Brady was named the Most Valuable Player of the Patriots' first Super Bowl victory. But for the thinking fan, the real MVP wasn't a quarterback, but a cornerback. With 8:49 remaining in the second quarter, Law stepped in front of a pass intended for Rams receiver Dane Looker. Forty-seven yards later, the Patriots had a 7-3 lead. Law's touchdown was the precise moment an upset of the high-flying Rams -- 14-point favorites -- went from daydream to distinct possibility.
