We're looking for readers to share their qualifying story.
You can review the submissions we've approved, and add your own tale for consideration, at a special page we've created in our Boston Marathon section. Some of the best will be considered for possible inclusion in a Globe feature about qualifying. (Note: the form asks for your email and phone number -- it's only in case we want to contact you for more info. They will not be published anywhere.)
So what if your qualifying story isn't very dramatic, or you're a marathon veteran? Then please consider sharing your secrets in another feature: The best running advice I ever received.
Some of the best of these will also be considered for inclusion in the Globe's upcoming special section previewing the 2011 Boston Marathon.
Look for the popular Why I Run feature to debut later this week, and more running news and stories as we get closer to the event.
