Wednesday night marks the start of another season of Bruins' hockey. On Tuesday, the Bs announced their roster for opening night.

The team will carry 13 forwards, seven defensemen and three goaltenders into thir tilt with the Philadelphia Flyers at TD Garden. First line center David Krejci has been placed on injured reserve while fellow center Gregory Campbell and left wing prospect Anthony Camara will begin the season on non-roster injured reserve. Marc Savard, still under team control, was placed on long term IR.

Krejci will miss a minimum of seven days as of the day he suffered the injury, which was Saturday, per the NHL's collective bargaining agreement. The Bruins have three games scheduled during that stretch.

The roster breaks down like this:

Forwards - Patrice Bergeron, Milan Lucic, Brad Marchand, Craig Cunnigham, Loui Eriksson, Brian Ferlin, Matt Fraser, Chris Kelly, Daniel Paille, Bobby Robins, Reilly Smith, Carl Soderberg, Ryan Spooner.

Defensemen - Zdeno Chara, Dennis Seidenberg, Adam McQuaid, Kevan Miller, Dougie Hamilton, Matt Bartkowski, Torey Krug.

Goaltenders - Tuukka Rask, Malcolm Subban, Niklas Svedberg

Forward Jordan Caron and first-round draft choice David Pastrnak were sent to Providence of the American Hockey League.

Earlier Tuesday, Bruins' GM Peter Chiarelli did note that this roster may be tweaked prior to the 7:30 puck drop on Wednesday night.
