WILMINGTON – The Bruins play at Buffalo on Wednesday and host San Jose on Thursday. It is the first back-to-back set of 2013-14.

Chad Johnson, goalie Tuukka Rask’s backup, is scheduled to start either Wednesday or Thursday. Coach Claude Julien said a final decision hasn’t been made. But Julien mentioned Buffalo as a possibility for Johnson, who has backed up Rask for the first seven games. Rask is one of two goalies to have played every game for his club this season. San Jose’s Antti Niemi is the other.

If Johnson plays against the Sabres, it would most likely be the only lineup change. The Bruins are coming off a 5-0 win over Tampa Bay on Saturday. They did not make any changes to today’s practice lineup:

Milan Lucic-David Krejci-Jarome Iginla
Reilly Smith-Patrice Bergeron-Loui Eriksson
Carl Soderberg-Chris Kelly-Brad Marchand/Jordan Caron
Daniel Paille-Gregory Campbell-Shawn Thornton

Zdeno Chara-Johnny Boychuk
Dennis Seidenberg-Dougie Hamilton
Torey Krug-Adam McQuaid
Matt Bartkowski

Tuukka Rask
Chad Johnson
