Bruins excited for season opener
“Really excited about it,” Claude Julien said of launching the 48-game season. “I would have been extremely disappointed had we not gotten to the stage here where we’re at in giving our fans an exciting half-season. It won’t be a long season of 82 games. But an exciting one at 48. It’s going to be basically playoff hockey from the get-go. It’s exciting for the fans. But it’s exciting for us too. If there’s anything I’m going to take from it, it’s going to be fun too.”

Pandolfo is on a professional tryout agreement. To Pandolfo’s understanding, he can stay with the team short-term under his current status.
