Thornton cut but OK

thornton.jpgShawn Thornton left the game in the second and didn't return because of a cut above his right eye. Thornton cut his face on Fernando Pisani's skate blade. Thornton guessed he had 40-plus stitches to close the J-shaped wound.

Thornton didn't like the chirping he got from an unidentified Chicago player as he was leaving the ice.

"There was some stuff said that I'm not very happy about," Thornton said. "If I ever find out who it was, I'll deal with it in my own way."
