Chris Kelly, with his visa issues resolved, will play for the Bruins tonight. He will make his Boston debut against his old club. Kelly will fly back to Boston after the game.

"The only time I've been in this room is in training camp," said Kelly of the visitors' room at Scotiabank Place. "The guys have made me feel welcome. I'm excited for tonight."

Kelly remained in Ottawa following Tuesday's trade. Kelly had hoped to play last night against the Islanders.

Kelly will wear No. 23. While Kelly projects to be the third-line center, Claude Julien didn't offer any hints at tonight's lineup, noting that roster movement could take place before puck drop.

* Kelly had one of his former teammates traded today. Ottawa continued its blowup, trading Brian Elliott to Colorado for Craig Anderson. Kelly, Elliott, Mike Fisher, and Jarkko Ruutu have been sent packing. There are some guys named Erik Condra, Andre Benoit, and Francis Lessard on the Ottawa roster. Will acknowledge never having heard these gentlemen's names before today.
