Third period

19:53, Bruins 7, Flyers 5 Gregory Campbell adds an empty net goal to give the Bruins a 7-5 victory.

1:14, Bruins 6, Flyers 5 Steve Kampfer gets the go-ahead goal. A right shot, Kampfer lifts an easy wrister from the right sideboards, and tucks it into the top left corner of the Flyer net.

15:26 -Bruins get a power play when Mike Richards is sent to the box for high sticking. Dennis Seidenberg's slapper is a tester but Bruins can't connect. They are 1 for 4 on the power play tonight.

11:26, Bruins 5, Flyers 5 - Wait a minute ... now they're saying.... the scoreboard seems to be exploding tonight. Brad Marchand ties it up for the Bruins, firing a wrist shot in stride from the right circle. Marchand got the short pass from Blake Wheeler, as he stumbled to the ice on the left side of the zone. But it was Gregory Campbell who began the play with a niftty lead pass to Wheeler from the Bruins' blue line. That's five goals in 11 and a half minutes.

7:41, Flyers 5, Bruins 4 - Bruins' defense caught up ice again, and the Flyers take advantage of the scramble to get back when Sean O'Donnell finishes the rush by scoring his first goal of the season, and his first in 49 games, wristing a shot to the top right corner.

6:48, Flyers 4, Bruins 4 - Danny Briere ties it up in what has becom
e a wild game, rapping in a rebound for his 23d goal of the season. Coburn got off the first shot, from the inside edge of the right circle, and the rebound caromed out front to the left, where Briere had a wide open net to shoot at.

1:42, Bruins 4, Flyers 3 - What a jumpstart for the third period. Michael Ryder gives the Bruins the lead, scoring 1:10 after Recchi's tying goal. Adam McQuaid set it up, flinging the puck to the net from the right boards. Ryder tipped a shot past Boucher for his 12th goal of the season.

0:38, Bruins 3, Flyers 3 - Recchi from Recchi. Bruins open the third period with a bang (just as they did the second). Mark Recchi dumped the puck into the Flyers' zone and then gave chase, and when the puck took a funny bounce off the back boards just as Boucher left his net to play it, Recchi was in front of the net to scoop up the puck and bang it into the empty net.

Second Period

19:24: Flyers 3, Bruins 2 - Bruins' energy level seemed to be fading as the period went on, and they paid for it in the last five minutes, when the Flyers tied the game and then went ahead on Jeff Carter's goal with only 35.7 seconds left in the period. Carter collected the puck out of a scrum along the left boards in the Bruins' zone, and whipped a shot from the left dot that beat Thomas on the short side.

15:25: Flyers 2, Bruins 2 - Nikolat Zherdev ties it up with yet another breakaway, taking a feed from Andreas Nodl at the Bruins' blue line and skating in alone to tuck a backhander behind Thomas. It is Zherdev's 14th goal of the season.

10:17 - Thomas stops Hartnell on a breakaway, diving out of the goal and onto the ice to push the puck away with his glove.

4:34 - Good opportunity created by Nathan Horton, who breaks away down the left wing to get loose for a sharp shot at the Flyer net. But Boucher makes what looks like a routine glove save to quell the threat.

0:45 - Bruins, 2-1 - Patrice Bergeron gets his 14th goal of the season to start the second period with a bang, tipping Steven Kampfer's shot from the right point around Boucher. Bergeron has points in the last five games (6-3-9).

First Period

18:16, Bruins 1, Flyers 1- Bruins get their second power-play chance of the game when Hartnell is called for hooking Dennis Seidenberg at 16:46. And when Coburn is also tagged with hooking, at 17:42, the B's have 56 seconds of 5-on-3 man advantage. After swarming the net from in close, Chara ties the game with a scorching shot from inside the right point. It is Chara's seventh goal of the season.

13:22 - Brian Boucher, in turn, slides out to deny a semi-break by Krejci. Flyers' Mike Richards draws a hooking penalty on the play when he drags down Krejci from behind. Bruins' best opportunities on the power play are a pair of slap shots, Zdeno Chara from the right point and Johnny Boychuk from the left, but Boucher stops both.

10:21 - Thomas blocks James Van Riemsdyk, who manages to get free for a shot from just a few feet in front of the Bruins goalie.

5:53 - Bruins called for too many men on the ice in a slow Gregory Campbell-Patrice Bergeron exhchange. But the Flyers are unable to take advantage.

3:34: Flyers, 1-0: Scott Hartnell gets his 15th goal of the season, batting in the popup rebound of Ville Leino's wrist shot, scoring from behind the goal line to Tim Thomas's left.

2:25 - Not much of a wait before Shawn Thornton and Jody Shelley drop the gloves. Shelley throws more punches but both get sent to the box for fighting majors.

0:45 - Bruins' first chance in the first minute: David Krejci scoops up a loose puck on a Braydon Coburn giveaway along the right boards in the Flyers' zone but he can't settle the puck on his stick for a shot.
