NEW YORK -- Good morning from Madison Square Garden, where the Bruins will face off against the Rangers tonight. Johnny Boychuk is considered day-to-day and could return to the lineup tonight. New York's Brandon Dubinsky delivered the slash on Oct. 23 that broke Boychuk's left arm.

For now, we'll go with the lineup from Monday's 2-0 win over New Jersey. We'll update if we get word on Boychuk's availability prior to warmups.

UPDATE: Boychuk and David Krejci are doing extra work with Doug Jarvis after the skate. So perhaps Boychuk will have to wait one more night. Tim Thomas was the first goalie off the ice, indicating he'll start tonight. Claude Julien said Boychuk will be a game-time decision, acknowledging he is not 100 percent yet.

Puck drop: 7 p.m.

Record: Bruins 9-5-1, Rangers 10-7-1

TV/radio info: NESN (Jack Edwards, Andy Brickley), 98.5 The Sports Hub (Dave Goucher, Bob Beers), Versus (outside of New England)

Projected lineup:

Milan Lucic-Patrice Bergeron-Nathan Horton
Jordan Caron-Blake Wheeler-Mark Recchi
Brad Marchand-Gregory Campbell-Michael Ryder
Daniel Paille-Tyler Seguin-Shawn Thornton

Zdeno Chara-Andrew Ference
Matt Hunwick-Dennis Seidenberg
Mark Stuart-Adam McQuaid

Tim Thomas
Tuukka Rask

Healthy scratches: none

Storylines: David Krejci has been cleared for contact and made the trip to New York. Krejci should skate this morning, although he won't play tonight... If Boychuk plays, Adam McQuaid could be the healthy scratch. McQuaid, however, made a big-time contribution on Monday when he fought Rod Pelley in a spirited scrap... The Rangers won the previous meeting at TD Garden, 3-2... Tom Kowal and Mike Leggo will be the referees. Derek Amell and Brian Mach will be the linesmen.
