With or without Marc Savard, the Bruins will be aiming to finish Buffalo's season tonight. The Sabres are expecting Thomas Vanek to play.

"You hope you had that attitude last game too," Claude Julien said of ending Buffalo's year. "When you want to finish a series and you want to be the winning team, you've got to have that attitude. You let teams get back in it, it just gives them more hope. Tonight, we need to play like we want to end it tonight."

* Savard participated in today's optional morning skate. Savard is scheduled to take a neuro-psych test this afternoon. When asked about Savard's availability, Julien said there was no confirmation and that the center hadn't been cleared by the medical staff.

* The No. 3 line of Blake Wheeler, Vladimir Sobotka, and Michael Ryder is the only threesome that hasn't been altered through this series. "He must like what he's seeing," Wheeler said of Julien.
