Good morning from TD Banknorth Garden, where we're getting ready to drop the puck on Game 1.

Some tidbits from the game notes:

* The Canadiens will be without No. 1 defenseman Andrei Markov. Andrew Ference is expected to miss tonight's game.

* Montreal has 27 players on its active playoff roster. Boston has 23 active players.

* Montreal had the 11th-best power play during the regular season (19.3 percent) and the 11th-best penalty kill (82.4 percent).

* Kevin Pollock and Dennis LaRue will be the referees. Pierre Racicot and Tony Sericolo will be the linesmen.
