The Bruins have started their practice at Ristuccia Arena. All players are present except for Petteri Nokelainen, who was cleared for contact yesterday.

Nokelainen is being held out of practice because he is involved in a potential deal.

Nokelainen, who suffered an eye injury on Feb. 10 when he was high-sticked by San Jose's Dan Boyle, was cleared for contact yesterday. Nokelainen has appeared in 33 games this season and has scored three assists.

Last year, Nokelainen appeared in 57 games, scoring seven goals and three assists. During the playoffs, Nokelainen recorded two assists in seven games. Nokelainen was originally acquired from the Islanders for Ben Walter and a 2009 second-round pick on Sept. 11, 2007.

* Matt Hunwick is back on defense.
