OTTAWA -- Good morning from a frosty Canadian capital, where the temperature is currently -6 F. Bitterly cold. The two-minute walk from the parking lot to the arena felt like 15 hours.

Some tidbits from the game notes:

* Manny Fernandez, Petteri Nokelainen, and Byron Bitz are the only Bruins planning to skate this morning. Media availability will be this afternoon for players and Claude Julien.

* This is the second game for new Ottawa coach Cory Clouston, promoted from Binghamton after Craig Hartsburg got the boot. The Senators lost to the Kings in Clouston's first game.

* This is Boston's 10th back-to-back set this season. They are 8-0-1 in the second game so far.

* The Senators are averaging only 2.3 goals per game. They have the 18th-best power play in the league (17.5 percent).

* Steve Kozari and Dan Marouelli will be the referees. Scott Cherrey and Michel Cormier will be the linesmen.
