Clouston taking charge
Old friend Ryan Shannon, recalled from Binghamton yesterday, will be in the lineup tonight, playing for his former AHL coach.
"I knew all the drills," joked the former Boston College captain.
Shannon said Cory Clouston, coaching his second NHL game tonight, is all about structure and accountability. Shannon had high praise for Clouston, noting the players in Binghamton respected him and played hard for their coach. Shannon will most likely be skating alongside Nick Foligno and Mike Fisher tonight.
* Brian Elliott will start in goal. Dean McAmmond will be the healthy scratch.
* Clouston on the Bruins: "We know they're an elite team. There's a reason for that. They play hard. They play smart. There's not a lot of weaknesses in their game. They can throw four lines out at you. Last night, [Shawn] Thornton's line was very dominant. We know it's a tough task. I think our guys are feeling good about the challenge. They're excited about the game instead of apprehensive."
