According to NHLPA executive director Paul Kelly, the players will vote within 60 days on whether to terminate the current CBA.
Kelly has three more teams to visit on the NHLPA fall tour. Kelly met with the Bruins last month in Chicago.
"While every player would prefer to play under a non-cap, free market system," Kelly wrote in an e-mail, "the decision to be made by the players in the coming weeks should not be viewed as a referendum on their acceptance or non-acceptance of the current cap structure."
We'll have more from Kelly and his thoughts on the economy and the cap later today.
