Manny Fernandez was the first goalie off the ice this morning, indicating he'll get the start tonight against Washington. Fernandez has won his last seven starts.

* Stephane Yelle made it through the morning skate without limitations. According to Claude Julien, Yelle said he felt good and could be on track to play tonight. If Yelle can dress, Vladimir Sobotka will most likely be the healthy scratch.

* Aaron Ward (leg) and Marco Sturm (neck) stayed on for extra work after the skate. Julien said both are progressing well. Neither will play tonight.
