BUFFALO -- Good morning from blustery Buffalo, where it feels like winter is just around the corner. Don't think a visit to the Falls would be a pleasant experience today.

Some tidbits from the pregame notes:

* If Manny Fernandez starts tonight's game, it will mark his 300th career appearance.

* Tonight's game will be on Versus. This is the second time in six games that the Bruins will play on the network.

* In the last 10 meetings at HSBC Arena, Buffalo holds a 7-1-2 advantage.

* There has never been a trade between the organizations.

* Tonight's referees will be Chris Ciamaga and Kevin Pollock. The linesmen will be Brad Kovachik and Steve Miller.
