WILMINGTON — The Bruins’ three-game road trip out West didn’t start out well — with losses to Anaheim and Los Angeles by a combined 9-4 score — but it ended on a strong note with Tuukka Rask backstopping them to a 1-0 victory over San Jose Saturday night to close it out.
Rask said it just was one of those dips that you go through over the course of a long season.
“I didn’t feel too bad in those two games we lost,’’ said Rask following practice Monday at Ristuccia Arena in preparation for Tuesday night’s game against Toronto at TD Garden. “We had some really unlucky goals scored on us.
“For us as a team, it was a really great effort against San Jose.’’
