The Bruins expected a better effort from the Maple Leafs in Game 2. Toronto did not disappoint.

The Leafs tied the series on Saturday night with a 4-2 win at TD Garden.

Phil Kessel scored his first goal of the playoffs at 0:53 of the third. Kessel slipped behind Dennis Seidenberg, took a pass from Nazem Kadri, and tucked the puck behind Tuukka Rask to give the Leafs a 3-1 lead.

The Bruins started their rally at 10:35 of the third. Johnny Boychuk hammered a slap shot from the right point that ticked off the blocker of James Reimer and went over the line. Tyler Seguin was battling in front with Tyler Bozak to prevent Reimer from getting a good look at Boychuk’s shot.
