Erwin Cohen will be remembered as a family man with an unrelenting passion for hockey.
When he died Jan. 3 at age 81, he left his wife, Ruth, a son, Larry, daughters Robyn and Stacey, a brother, and four grandchildren.
Cohen also left hundreds of friends at TD Garden. A Bruins’ season ticket holder for six decades, he was a member of the original Gallery Gods, and one of the team’s most well known and admired fans.
“Everyone at the Garden knew Erwin,” said Keith Ricci, a member of the Boston Bruins Fan Relations team who attended Cohen’s funeral along with John Cadigan, the manager of the Bruins Fan Relations Department. “He never missed a game.”
