Understanding the Tim Tebow phenomenon
He's an imperfect passer
Despite his college success and imposing physical stature, Tebow overhauled his throwing mechanics before the 2010 NFL Draft after questions about his ability to play quarterback at the next level. Those questions have hardly been answered in his short time in Denver, as the Broncos are winning in spite of Tebow's up-and-down numbers. Tebow threw for 316 yards against Pittsburgh in the playoffs, but was just 10 for 21. In a loss to the Chiefs a week earlier, he was 6 of 22 for just 60 yards.
