In many ways, the University of Florida product's rookie season was outstanding. The 6-foot-1-inch, 245-pound tight end with a receiver's speed was the youngest player in the league last season (he's 21 now), and yet he quickly emerged as a favorite target of Tom Brady's, with five or more catches in five of the first eight games. But he hit that proverbial rookie wall, with 11 catches from Week 10 forward. His talent is undeniable, and he's an ideal complement to fellow second-year tight end Rob Gronkowski. The Patriots are counting on a full season of production.
