There will always be questions about the individual decisions coaches make from game to game, such as Bill Belichick's decision to go for an onsides kick late in Sunday's game. While hindsight is 20-20 in those scenarios, it might be more beneficial to question the larger picture. Over the last few seasons in particular, Belichick's strategy of trading down in the draft to select bigger risks on defense hasn't panned out. Neither have many of the team's defensive free agents (Deltha O'Neal anyone?) Recently, critics have questioned his reluctance to bring in more high-profile coaching help, such as a big-name defensive coordinator.
