2. Bill Belichick vs. Mike Shanahan
The NFL loves to tout its marquee coaching matchups, and in some ways this qualifies: Belichick and Shanahan are two of the most accomplished coaches in the league, both having won multiple Super Bowls. The difference is that Belichick's success is sustained -- the Patriots haven't won a Super Bowl since the 2004 season, but with a victory today, they will have won at least 10 games for the ninth straight year. Meanwhile, Shanahan, who guided the Broncos to back-to-back championships in 1997 and '98, went 6-10 last year during his first season in Washington and is off to a 4-8 start this year. In fact, none of Shanahan's last three teams in Denver (2006-08) won more than nine games in a season.
