Which Patriots team is your all-time favorite?
1985: The first Super Bowl team
After quarterback Tony Eason struggled to start the season and suffered a shoulder injury in Week 6, wily veteran Steve Grogan came off the bench and led the Patriots to six consecutive wins. But then Grogan broke his leg in a 16-13 overtime loss to the Jets, and Eason was back at QB. The Patriots advanced to the playoffs after clinching the wild card by beating the Bengals in the last game of the season. All-Pro linebacker Andre Tippett (16 sacks) led a defense that featured Pro Bowl cornerback Raymond Clayborn and safety Fred Marion.
