Corey Dillon was the new weapon for the Patriots. The veteran running back piled up a franchise-record 1,635 yards and scored 12 touchdowns. Tom Brady threw for almost 3,700 yards, completing more than 60 percent of his passes to receivers like David Patten, David Givens, and Daniel Graham, in addition to Deion Branch. All-Pro defensive lineman Richard Seymour, linebackers Tedy Bruschi, Mike Vrabel,and Willie McGinest, and defensive backs Ty Law and Rodney Harrison (pictured) were part of one of the toughest defenses in the NFL. The Patriots finished at 14-2 for the second straight season to win the AFC East.
