Peyton Manning and the Patriots
Oct. 22, 2000: Colts 30, Patriots 23
Two weeks after their first meeting of the season, the Colts and Patriots met again, this time in Indianapolis.
Edgerrin James (seen here eluding Henry Thomas) ran wild for 124 yards and a touchdown in addition to Peyton Manning's 268 yards through the air. The Patriots held onto a 23-14 lead entering the final quarter, but after 16 unanswered Colt points, the Patriots fell to 2-6 on the season.
