Deion BranchIn September 2006, the Patriots traded receiver Deion Branch to the Seattle Seahawks for a 2007 first-round draft choice. "You don't go to the Super Bowl just off regular guys," the Super Bowl XXXIX MVP said when he joined the Seahawks. "The organizations mold their guys and make sure the meetings are as important as being on the field. I think what was a big thing in New England is that we studied a whole lot." Branch suffered a major knee injury his first season in Seattle and didn't live up to his billing. The receiver was drafted in the second round of the 2002 draft and spent his first four pro seasons in New England, where he had 213 receptions for 2,744 yards and 14 touchdowns in 53 regular-season games. He also had a record 11 receptions for 133 yards in Super Bowl XXXIX.
He returned in 2010 after four seasons with the Seahawks, and played 36 games in the 2010, 2011 and 2012 seasons.
