Patriots first-round picks through the years
2002: Daniel Graham
The Patriots flipped their record, going from 5-11 to 11-5 in 2001, and ended up picking 21st overall after trading their first-, third-, and seventh-round draft picks to the Washington Redskins for the Redskins' first-round pick. The Patriots chose Colorado tight end Daniel Graham, who played with the team through 2006, but wasn't resigned. In 2007, the Denver Broncos signed the tight end to a five-year contract, and he appeared in 16 games for the Broncos last season. He had 18 receptions for 148 yards.
