The Patriots got some bad news Tuesday with the NFL finding that 11 balls used in Sunday's AFC Championship game win over the Colts were under-inflated below the league requirements.
Let's cue up the social media reaction.
11 of 12 balls under-inflated can anyone spell cheating!!! #Just Saying— Jerry Rice (@JerryRice) January 21, 2015
If New England was to be DQ'd.. We'd be their replacements right??... I should probably lay off these strawberry margs— Pat McAfee (@PatMcAfeeShow) January 21, 2015
If morts report is on target, and I'm sure it is, belichick should be suspended from the Super Bowl. My opinion.— Bob Kravitz (@bkravitz) January 21, 2015
If bob kraft is a true man of integrity he will take it out of the leagues hands and fire belichick. Not holding my breath— Bob Kravitz (@bkravitz) January 21, 2015
If the footballs were deflated by that amount, it's definitely cheating. Harder to fumble, easier to catch, and helps you throw further.— Terrance Knighton (@MrKnighton2u) January 21, 2015
Looks like someone's gonna be in trouble for not deflating that 12th ball... 😱😂 “@jjones9: bruh 11 out of 12”— Graham Gano (@GrahamGano) January 21, 2015

11/12 Patriots supplied Footballs were Underinflated. When Bellichick heard this, he promptly fired the equipment manager for missing 1 ball— Richard Shermans Ego (@NotShermanLOB) January 21, 2015
@nfl So we get to play the game again or nah? 👀— Darius Butler (@DariusJButler) January 21, 2015
Now I'd like to take a minute, just sit right there, and I'll tell you all about how I became the prince of ball air. pic.twitter.com/30q9AQ9m69— Mike Rutherford (@CardChronicle) January 21, 2015
