The New England Patriots defense took a bit of a beating at the hands of the Green Bay Packers defense, but the pain continues even into this week.

Linebacker Dont'a Hightower (shoulder) and cornerback Kyle Arrington (ankle) were both featured on Wednesday's injury report as limited participants. Hightower is in the middle of a career year, and has logged a career high 4.5 sacks to show for it. Arrington has been a fixture in the rotation as the third cornerback, and has allowed only one touchdown into his coverage all season.

Long snapper Danny Aiken (concussion), guard Dan Connolly (ankle), defensive lineman Dominique Easley (knee), wide receiver Julian Edelman (thigh), tackle Cameron Fleming (ankle), defensive end Chandler Jones (hip), wide receiver Brandon LaFell (shoulder), and running back Shane Vereen (ankle) were also listed as limited participants.

Connolly, Edelman, LaFell, and Vereen all played through injuries last week against the Packers.

The only players who did not participate in practice were wide receiver Aaron Dobson (hamstring) and linebacker Chris White (ankle). Dobson came up limping after only his fourth snap of the game against the Packers, and did not return to the game. White was not on the active roster last week.

Quarterback Tom Brady (ankle) and offensive tackle Marcus Cannon (hip) were both full participants in practice.
