Patriots quarterback Tom Brady has been a lot more active on social media than usual over the past two weeks. Between his college résumé and a high-five meme with Patriots owner Robert Kraft, the future Hall-of-Famer has earned more shares in a couple days than yours truly has probably earned in his entire career in sports journalism.
So what's led to the sudden uptick in posts from Brady?
"I don't know," he said. "I'm not really a social media king. There's a lot of people who put a lot of time and energy into it. It's a pretty popular thing these days. I'm glad you had some fun with it. That's the goal."
With a combined 13,329 shares and 67,140 likes on the two posts, Brady may want to think about adding "social media connoiseur" to his résumé.
