Patriots add wide receiver Brandon LaFell
After a reported visit to New England on Wednesday, the Patriots have come to an agreement with Carolina Panthers free agent wide receiver Brandon LaFell, according to a report by ESPN's Adam Schefter.
And now Patriots have reached agreement on a three-year deal with former Panthers WR Brandon LaFell, per source.

According to NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport, the deal is for three years and $11 million.

LaFell, a four-year NFL veteran out of LSU, caught 49 passes for 627 yards and five touchdowns last season for the Panthers.
At 6-2 and 210 pounds, he's a bigger receiver that can give the Patriots some versatility on the outside, but also play in the slot.
Several teams had shown interest in LaFell, including the New York Jets and Denver Broncos.
