The Patriots held a relatively relaxed scrimmage on Saturday, and took Sunday off to rest the players’ bodies. But the intensity figures to ramp up Monday as the Patriots begin their first game week of the season and prepare for Friday night’s preseason opener at Philadelphia.

The Patriots will practice amongst themselves one last time Monday morning before hitting the road later in the day and practicing with the Eagles on Tuesday and Wednesday. The practices in Philadelphia figure to be hard-hitting and should help the Patriots work on their physicality and play speed as they ramp up for the preseason games.
