The Patriots open training camp today at Gillette Stadium, the team's first on-field activities in a month.

The team's practice is slated for 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. and will be open to the public. Coach Bill Belichick will address the media at 1 p.m. and players will be made available for interviews after practice.

If the Patriots hold to custom, the players will sign autographs for fans immediately after practice at the lower fields.

We'll have a number of staffers at camp today to provide reports, photos and video. You can follow reporters on Twitter to stay along with the updates, although there is a strict no tweeting policy during practice. Here are our Twitter accounts:

Camp starts today with 89 players on the Patriots roster, with one more spot to fill. The Patriots will have to reduce the roster to 75 players on Aug. 27 and then 53 players on Aug. 31.

In the last month, the team has re-signed safety James Ihedigbo and DT Kyle Love, cut WR Matt Roark and RB Joseph Addai, and signed free agent DL Tim Bulman and free agent TE Visanthe Shiancoe.

All Patriots rookies are under contract following LB Dont'a Hightower signing July 18.
